Welcome to our first ever Job & Crew Fair. Here is a little more information about the event:

What is it?

It's two things: a job fair AND a crew fair.

• The job fair is designed to help crew or anyone else looking for work on a yacht find work on a yacht.
• The crew fair is designed to help working crew find goods and services that will help them in their jobs.

What will happen all day?

Come prepared to discuss your dreams and goals with people who can help you achieve them. Exhibitors will be in attendance from noon to 7 p.m., ready to sign you into their job search databases, counsel you on your career path, expose you to stuff that can help you do your job better, and introduce you to services to help you take care of yourself.

Where?

Bahia Mar Yacht Center on Ft. Lauderdale beach, upstairs from the main hotel lobby in the Commodore Ballroom.

When?

Noon to 7 p.m, Come for an hour, stay all day. There will be speakers at the bottom of every hour offering advice and tips on everything from resumes to financial planning. Some topics and speakers already confirmed:-

All megayacht crew –- actively seeking work or not – and anyone who thinks they might like to become a crew member.

Who's exhibiting?

Companies that can help people find yacht jobs, such as placement agencies. Companies that can help people develop yacht careers, such as training schools. Companies that can help working crew do their jobs better, such as linens suppliers, cleaning product manufacturers, and provisioners. Companies that can help crew, period, such as accommodations rental companies, health insurance agents and lawyers.
